Central Health Magazine explains medical research in plain language. It is not a clinic, and nothing we publish is medical advice for you personally.
Our articles, newsletters and reviewer notes are written for general education. They describe what studies found in groups of people. They cannot account for your history, your medicines or your circumstances, which is why they can't replace a consultation with a qualified professional who knows you.
Never start, stop or change a medicine, a diet, a fast or any other treatment because of something you read here without first speaking to your physician or pharmacist.
Clinical Review articles are checked by a member of our reviewer board before publication, and each article shows who reviewed it and when. Review confirms that we have reported the evidence fairly at that date. Medicine changes, and a reviewed article does not create a doctor and patient relationship between you and the reviewer, the writer or the magazine.
We write about prayer, rest, fasting and other spiritual disciplines alongside clinical evidence. Where we describe a practice, we say what the research shows and where it stops. A spiritual practice is never offered as a replacement for medical care.
We take no sponsorship and run no supplement shop. Mentioning a product, fabric, study or organisation is not an endorsement, and we receive nothing for it.
